The month of June celebrates Black Music Appreciation Month and we want to take this time to honor and appreciate black musicians that have performed here at Chesapeake Arena. Legendary artists have walked these halls and have continued to be a huge part of the Chesapeake Arena programming, drawing fans from all over Maryland and the DMV area.

New Edition performs as part of The Culture Tour with special guests Jodeci on February 27th, 2022

Fantasia performs in front of a sold-out crowd during her Sketchbook Tour featuring Tank, The Bonfyre and Robin Thicke in November of 2019. Fantasia will be returning to Chesapeake Arena on August 20th, 2022 with special guest Leela James for her second time here in Baltimore.

Tank has performed at Chesapeake Arena two times, once with Fantasia as part of her Sketchbook Tour in November of 2019 and most recently as part of the 90's R&B house party with Keith Sweat in April 2022.

Comedia Lil Duval performs as part of the No Cap Comedy Tour in April 2022

Keith Sweat has also performed at Chesapeake Arena on multiple occasions, most recently as part of the 90's R&B Ladies Night in April of 2022.

Frankie Beverly has also been to Chesapeake Arena on multiple occasions including a stop during the All White Affair in 2019.

Mario performs as part of the Millenium Tour in April of 2019. The Millenium Tour also featured artists such as Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, and Bobby V.
