Accessibility Services

Chesapeake Arena recognizing the special needs of thousands of its guests, offers a range of accommodations, not only to provide comfortable access to the venue, but also to ensure that everyone comes away with the same indelible memories.

Fulfilling this commitment means ensuring that guests with special needs, along with friends and family, know how to avail themselves of everything we provide. Guests may purchase seating, based on their need, directly through Ticketmaster. This includes, but is not limited to, wheelchair seating, limited mobility, vision, hearing & sensory.

If a guest requires an accommodation after a ticket purchase has been made and prior to the event, please call 443.612.3840 to discuss relocation options. If you are at the venue, please visit the Guest Services near section 100 on the concourse ask a staff member for assistance.

For concerts, comedy shows & family events, Chesapeake Arena offers sign language interpreters to those guests who request such an accommodation. Either the guest in need or a member of their party must request this service a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the performance. This may be done via the submission form or over the phone at 443.612.3840

ADA Accessible Seating


Chesapeake Arena offers wheelchair-accessible seating in sections 100, 105, 106, 107, and 108. Wheelchair-accessible seating can be purchased online, through Ticketmaster, by selecting the Wheelchair accessible seating filter. If you need assistance finding wheelchair-accessible seating, please call the venue box office for assistance at 443.612.3840

Please note that the 200-level seating is not wheelchair-accessible or elevator accessible. Guests must use the stairs from the concourse to access the 200-level sections.

Please visit Guest Services if you need assistance or need to be relocated. Relocation is non-guaranteed, but Chesapeake Arena will do our best to accommodate.


Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)

Assistive Listening Devices, which operate on the FM system, are complimentary and available for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing for events in the arena. ALD's can be picked up at Guest Services on show day.

Interpreted Performances
Chesapeake Arena is pleased to provide signed performances for the deaf and hard of hearing upon request. We will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advanced notice. Please submit an interpreter request a minimum of 30 days' notice prior to the event.


Service Animals
If you or a member of your party is bring service animal, we strongly recommend that you contact the venue in advance or submit a disabled services request. The venue offers seating locations throughout the arena that will provide a dedicated space for the animal.

Wheelchair Escorts

Patrons with mobility impairments who do not have access to a wheelchair may request a wheelchair to transport the individual to/from their seat, free of charge. Please be aware that our personnel cannot remain with you during the event, nor will they allow you to remain in or keep the wheelchair for the duration of the event. In the event a patron requires the use of a wheelchair for the duration of the event, we recommend bringing your own wheelchair or other mobility device. The escort pick-up area is located at guest services near section 100. Please allow for extra time so that you may be accommodated prior to the event start. Simply ask a guest services representative or a security guard for assistance.
