Located on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County stands the new Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. The venue officially opened its doors on Saturday, February 3^rd of 2018 for a sold-out UMBC Men’s Basketball game. The 6,000-seat arena is the home to the Retriever Men’s and Women’s basketball teams and women’s volleyball. The multi-purpose venue hosts a variety of events including commencements, concerts, family shows, trade shows, consumer shows, featured speakers, and banquets.

Oak View Group is a full-service venue management and event programming company that operates and books arenas, theaters, convention centers, and amphitheaters throughout the U.S. delivering customized management plans for each of their venues.
