To ensure guest safety and a quicker entry into the
venue, Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena has implemented a bag policy limiting the size and
type allowed into the venue. Guests are encouraged to not bring bags.
If guests wish to bring a bag, it must meet the criteria below.
Here is everything you need to know for a safer, more convenient experience at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena:
Each guest, including children, will be able to carry one approved clear bag and one clutch.
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
- One-gallon clear plastic Ziploc-style bag. These bags are still subject to search.
- Small clutch bags that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap.
- Diaper bags (with child) after inspection.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.
All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes, but is not limited to: purses, backpacks, drawstrings bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, and binocular cases.
Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles.
